Ultra Low Latency of 1.2 Microseconds for 1G to 10G Ethernet aggregation; H1 Fusion is market leading!
The new TransPacket H1 Fusion Add/Drop Muxponder introduces negligible delay of 1.2 µs* for all packet lengths when aggregating Gigabit Ethernet data streams into a 10 Gigabit ethernet channel. Combined with the disruptive Fusion network principle, TransPacket H1 is perfectly suited for use in Metro networks aggregating and transporting data for trading, high-quality video, mobile backhaul, traffic from DSLAMs and more, since timing and QoS characteristics are preserved throughout the network. TransPacket creates real convergence by fusion of circuit switching and packet switching of Ethernet packet traffic.
The latency variation at 10 Gigabit Ethernet is ALWAYS below 50ns. One of the unique characteristics in the Fusion principle is the ability to add statistically multiplexed traffic on top of the transparent Ethernet lines dynamically filling up available capacity without impact on the packet latency and latency variation. The TransPacket H1 establishes itself in a unique position to enable a secure transition to packet-based optical networks including full support for timing-critical traffic.
* Measured according to RFC1242 store and forward metric.
