Carla Raffaelli is an associate professor in telecommunications at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bologna. She is the author of many technical papers on broadband switching and network modeling, and is active in research on optical communication. Fusion networks, also known as integrated hybrid networks, is one of the topics Carla is addressing in her research.
