<p>In an extremely tough competition, a paper based on trials with Fusion H1 was selected for the Postdeadline Paper session at the last day of the conference.</p>
<p>The TransPacket Fusion H1 Ethernet node is doubling the mean capacity utilization of an Ethernet wavelength with production traffic. This is demonstrated on a shared packet/circuit layer lightpath in a field-trial with Norwegian carrier UNINETT over 24hours. The results are presented in the paper: ‘Long-haul Ethernet-Transport Packet/Circuit Hybrid Network Field-Trial’.</p>
